How I work
Every project I take on — whether it's a single room or a ground-up custom home — gets the same level of involvement. I work across Minnesota and beyond, in person and virtually, and I stay closely involved at every stage. Full-scope projects, from architecture through interiors, are where I do my best work. But whether you're starting from an empty lot or refreshing a kitchen, the process is the same: specific, considered, and built around how you actually live.
What I Believe
A room should feel layered and collected rather than finished and matched — like it has a past, even when it's brand new. My work is rooted in history and classicism, shaped by a life spent moving between cultures, and always anchored in my client's own personal style and story. I believe in rooms that feel like the person who lives in them.
Who I Am
I grew up in the foreign service, moving every two years — Thailand, Russia, India, South America, Spain, Switzerland, France. I graduated high school in Paris, spent my first year of college there, and didn't stop moving until I was twenty-one. You learn to notice rooms when you're always arriving in a new one. And you learn, pretty quickly, how much it matters to feel like you've arrived somewhere that is home.
That's where my passion for this work comes from. Every room I design is a chance to give someone that feeling — to walk in and know, immediately, that it was made for them.
Fifteen years of design experience later, that instinct is still the thing I trust most. I'm based in Minneapolis and work with clients across the country on full-scope residential projects, from architecture through interiors. I take on a small number of projects at a time. Every one of them gets my full attention.

MEET THE FOUNDER
As long as Theresa can remember she’s been interested and affected by interior design. It started when, as a child of a diplomat who moved all over the world, her parents rented an apartment in Paris and her eyes were open to how your environment can change you. Besides living in Russia, India, South America, Spain, Switzerland and Thailand, it was when as a teenager Theresa moved to France that she was completely influenced by European design and sensibility. The understated, the underlying history and the rich culture became part of her DNA. In her own home and in the homes of her clients she loves to evoke an emotion when one enters a room she’s designed. To feel comfortable, to feel like you’ve arrived somewhere special and to feel the history and sentimentality specific to each client is what drives her.
With over 15 years experience in both residential and commercial properties, Theresa brings a wealth of knowledge, passion and creativity to every project. Although her extensive relationships with local artisans, builders and sub-contractors enables her to find the best fit and budget for every client, it is her talent for designing timeless, soulful spaces that sets her apart from the rest. Her commitment to practical design solutions is as important as her commitment to creative, thoughtful design with an unrivaled attention to detail.
